Ty Schwab has been on both sides of a crane's hook. He has been an operator as well as a connector, a rigger, the person unloading and shake out. For 25 years he has been in the steel erection business in the Denver Metro area. After all of these years he wanted to follow his passion and focus on the crane side of the business.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Mr. Ty G. Schwab has been a certified NCCCO Certified crane operator since 2005.
In 1994 after being honorably discharged from the United States Army, Mr. Schwab went to work for Homme Construction building custom homes in Billings, Mt. During this time, he ran small boom trucks and forklifts and ran a Digger Derrick truck used for hoisting and setting line poles.
In August of 1995, Mr. Schwab moved to Colorado and began working for H&H Steel Erectors. There he started his career in the steel erection business as an iron worker.
From February of 1996 until the present, Mr. Schwab has been working at D&E Steel Services Inc. While at D&E he has been an iron worker, master welder, foreman and head crane operator.
He has also been responsible for the maintenance of the cranes.
As a foreman he has been responsible for the erection of multiple buildings such as large stores, schools, parking structures, hospitals, etc. while supervising the crews.
As an iron worker/master welder he not only does the job, he teaches new hires the basics of the safety requirements of steel erection.
